About Maria

Hi everyone!! My name is Maria Cumella (aka Maria Glamella) and I am a certified professional makeup artist located in the NJ/NY area. I am a short, stereotypical Italian Jersey girl who may be small but has a huge personality. Ive been doing makeup since I was just 15 years old for little things like cheering competitions and talent shows. The more I was asked to apply it, the more my love for it grew. As soon as I graduated high school in 2015, I enrolled at Artist Makeup Academy in Hoboken NJ, which is ultimately where I decided to start my career. I haven't looked back since and am always entirely and completely engulfed within my craft.

 My first makeup gig began at Sephora where I began to learn about all the different kinds of brands and what they each had to offer. From there, I made the decision to start working for MAC Cosmetics. I am so proud to say that not only am I a certified MAC artist, but have also received many other certifications from celebrity artists such as Priscilla Distasio, Juan Tamez, and Mario Dedivanonic. *swoon*. I am mostly known for my special event work including, but not limited to, Bridal, Runway, TV, and Print. There are so many reasons to get GLAM! (even if that reason is to take a new facebook profile photo) (seriously) (Glam has no limits)
